Your Christian Birth Doula

Your Most Vital Resource Throughout Pregnancy & Birth

Because clinical care is not the whole story

When you hire a care provider, you are choosing someone to steward the clinical safety of your birth—to monitor vitals, assess progress, and hold medical responsibility with skill and precision.

That work matters.

But birth is not only clinical.

Birth moves through the body, the heart, the relationship, and the spirit. And while your care provider is focused—rightly—on the medical aspects of labor and birth, there is still a sacred layer of this passage that deserves its own devoted care.

That is where I come in.

The care that isn’t measured on a chart

Your provider is watching your blood pressure, baby’s heart tones, and physical progression.

I am watching you.

I am attentive to:

  • the emotional shifts that arise as labor deepens

  • the spiritual vulnerability that opens as control softens

  • the unspoken fears that surface in the quiet hours

  • the way your nervous system responds to intensity and transition

  • the relational dynamics between you and your partner

These things may not be charted—but they shape the birth just as profoundly.

A birth doula does not replace a medical professional. A birth doula brings your care full circle.
My role is based on the foundation of advocacy, relational, and supportive, allowing your provider to remain fully focused on their scope while I remain fully focused on you.

I offer:

  • steady emotional presence through every phase of labor

  • grounding support when things feel overwhelming or uncertain

  • reassurance when fear tries to take the lead

  • research skills & resources of the latest information

  • quiet protection of the birth space

  • encouragement that honors your strength without rushing your process

  • spiritual steadiness, prayer, or reverent silence—according to your values

This is care that moves at the pace of your nervous system, not a clock.

Birth invites depth.

Without hospital protocols or constant interruptions, the emotional and spiritual layers of birth often rise to the surface more clearly. Old fears may emerge. Identity may begin to shift before the baby is even born. Fathers may feel the weight of responsibility more acutely.

This is not a problem to solve—it is a passage to be witnessed and supported.

Having a doula ensures that this depth is not rushed past or left unattended while clinical care is happening alongside it.

What else do I get when I hire you as my Doula and what is important for me to know right now?

  • In addition to emotional, physical, and informational birth support, families who work with me have access to several holistic postpartum care offerings that are thoughtfully woven into my doula work.

One of these optional services is placenta encapsulation, prepared with care and intention for personal postpartum nourishment.

I use a raw preparation method, which means the placenta is gently cleaned and dehydrated at low temperatures rather than steamed. This approach is chosen to minimize heat exposure while honoring the placenta as a nutrient-dense, living tissue. During the dehydration process, traditional supports such as ginger and citrus may be included and blended alongside the placenta before encapsulation.

This service is offered as part of my commitment to continuity of care—supporting not just birth, but the postpartum healing window as well. Preparation methods are discussed ahead of time, and families are always welcome to ask questions so they feel informed and comfortable with their choices.

*Complimentary placenta prints and umbilical cord keepsake are crafted at no additional cost.

  • When you hire me as your homebirth doula, the Pregnancy Tea Blend is included as part of your holistic support — not as a stand-alone product, but as an extension of the care you’re already receiving.

This blend is intentionally crafted to support nourishment, nervous system regulation, and gentle daily ritual throughout pregnancy. It is made with organic, food-grade herbs that are traditionally used for pregnancy support and is blended in small batches to ensure freshness and quality.

As part of your care, you receive:

    • A pregnancy-safe, mineral-rich tea blend designed for regular use

    • Guidance on how and when to drink it based on your trimester, energy levels, and nervous system needs

    • Education on long infusions vs. gentle steeping, so you can get the most benefit without overwhelm

    • Ongoing support and adjustments, if needed, based on how your body is responding

This tea is not meant to “fix” pregnancy or replace clinical care. Instead, it supports the quieter, often overlooked needs of pregnancy — hydration, mineral repletion, calm digestion, emotional steadiness, and rest — all of which deeply influence how a woman experiences pregnancy and prepares for birth.

Including this blend is part of my commitment to caring for the whole mother, not just the logistics of birth.

  • When you hire me as your doula, you are not hiring someone who juggles multiple families at once or treats birth support as a numbers game. You are choosing deeply personalized care, intentional presence, and a level of dedication that allows me to serve your family with my full attention.

This means your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum season are not competing with multiple families on my calendar. I intentionally limit my client load so that I can remain fully available — emotionally, mentally, and physically — to you.

Because of this structure, the likelihood of needing a back-up doula is significantly reduced, and in most cases, nearly eliminated. I am not stretched thin. I am not rushing from birth to birth. I am not relying on contingency plans as a norm. My commitment is designed around reliability, presence, and continuity of care.

Beyond availability, this level of devotion allows me to:

    • Build a genuine relationship rooted in trust and familiarity

    • Know your preferences, values, fears, and hopes intimately

    • Offer consistent emotional, spiritual, and informational support

    • Hold your birth with reverence, focus, and steadiness

    • Show up rested, regulated, and fully present when your labor begins

Birth is not something I “cover.” It is something I hold — with intention, preparedness, and respect for its sacred nature.

When you invite me into this season, you are not just hiring a doula. You are choosing a companion who has intentionally structured her practice around depth over volume, quality over quantity, and wholehearted presence over convenience.

  • My doula services are a flat investment of $2,000 broken up into individual payments if thats what you need. This reflects not only the time I spend with you, but the depth of care, availability, and intentional client limitation that allows me to serve one family at a time with integrity.

I purposefully do not accept insurance — and this choice is deeply tied to how I practice and who I am able to serve.

Insurance companies do not reimburse for presence, intuition, spiritual support, or relationship-based care. They require standardized language, clinical justification, and documentation that often interferes with the autonomy, privacy, and fluidity that birth deserves. Accepting insurance would mean allowing a third party to define the scope, pace, and value of our work together.

    By remaining out-of-network and self-pay:

    • Your care is not dictated by insurance policies or time limits

    • Our conversations remain private and unfiltered

    • Your birth is not reduced to codes, checkboxes, or outcomes

    • I am accountable to you, not to an institution

    • I am free to offer support that honors emotional, spiritual, and intuitive needs

This model allows me to stay fully present, unhurried, and uncompromised — especially in the sacred, vulnerable moments where deep support matters most.

Your investment is not simply paying for hours or tasks. It is an investment in continuity of care, sovereignty, trust, and a practitioner who has intentionally structured her work to remain whole, rested, and available when you need her most.

If you’re seeking insurance-based care or a high-volume practice, I may not be the right fit — and that clarity is offered with respect. If you’re seeking depth, devotion, and a companion who honors birth as more than a medical event, this model was created for you.

  • I require a minimum of four hours of intentional connection with you — and with anyone who will be present at your birth — this is important to ensure a safe and fluid atmosphere during your birth.

This time is not a formality. It is foundational.

Birth is deeply relational. The way I support you in labor is shaped by trust, familiarity, and attunement — not by showing up as a stranger in one of the most vulnerable moments of your life. These hours allow us to build rhythm together, understand your values and boundaries, and ensure that everyone present feels grounded, aligned, and respected.

    During this time, we:

    • Establish trust and emotional safety

    • Discuss your hopes, concerns, and non-negotiables

    • Clarify the roles of partners, family, or other support people

    • Explore how you want to be supported in labor

    • Ensure my presence will be regulating and supportive for your space

Because of this requirement, my practice may not be the right fit for families seeking a last-minute, birth-only doula or support that begins for the first time when labor has already started. I honor that every family’s needs are different, but I do not believe meaningful birth support can be rushed or improvised.

This boundary protects you as much as it protects the integrity of the birth space. When I enter a birth, I do so as a known and trusted presence — not an unfamiliar face stepping into sacred ground.

If you are early in pregnancy or still exploring support options, this requirement allows us to move slowly and intentionally together. If you are late in pregnancy and seeking immediate coverage without prior connection, I may not be the right fit — and I offer that clarity with respect and transparency.
